i dont ask how dashcam trigger on parking mode but i'm asking how hard wire to keep power supply to dashcam pro but dashcam enter parking mode
if i just leave on batt then it will drain the battery of my car , if i put in acc then it will operate via build in battery if i turn off the car and that's mean only cover few minute of video how do i make hardwire so i can tell dashcam to enter parking mode but keep provide power to dashcam
This won't help you with your question of how to hardwire using 3 wires but I can tell you I have mine hardwired into an ACC fuse - so it powers off when the car is shut off. The dashcam goes into parking mode using the battery - that's correct. But I didn't drive the car at all one weekend and the battery was still powering the unit. It goes into "sleep" mode basically, fully turning on and recording only when the g sensor is activated. With no battery strength indicator I was not able to see how much power was left after a couple days so I don't know how many more days I could have not started the car. But because I could get a weekend I decided to just use an ACC fuse. A kit like this should do the job for you... https://www.amazon.com/Viofo-3-Wire-Hardwire-A129-Camera/dp/B07KZGM9LS
12V is not connected to USB port! Do not try, it would crash your device. USB is 5V only in dashcam. You can use my schematic to mod a normal 2 wire hardwire cable, to build parking mode switch circuit for it. But you have to find a micro usb cable which has not only pin 1 and 5 but pin 4 is used. Alkways on 12V is connected to 12V permanent input of hardwire cable. Ignition 12V goes to 3 wire hardwire 12V ignition (ACC) input (or my 12V to 5V switching schematic input). And hardwire circuit converts it to 5V permanent and 5V parking mode switching output to micro usb plug. If you connect 12V to USB pin, then fire and smoke happens.
